Our review

Cling film never goes back in the box neatly and it's single-use, so this set of silicone lids has genuinely replaced it in our kitchen. They're flat, flexible silicone covers in six sizes (about 4 to 12 inches) — set one on top of a bowl, cup, pot or pan and it grips down and seals, no wrap, foil or matching container needed. A little top knob and a side grip-tab make them easy to lift off, and you can hang them to dry.

They're food-grade and rated from -40 to 446F, so they go from the freezer to the microwave, oven or stovetop, and they're dishwasher safe — that range is the real appeal. Two honest caveats from the reviews. The 'vacuum suction' you see in some videos isn't guaranteed: it only happens on a perfectly smooth rim that's smaller than the lid, so treat them as a reliable cover rather than a guaranteed airtight vacuum seal. And used as a pot lid while cooking, the larger ones can sag and dip toward the food, and they're opaque so you can't watch through them. For everyday covering and fridge storage, though, they're an easy, reusable swap.

FAQ

Do they form a true airtight vacuum seal?

Not guaranteed — a real vacuum only forms on a perfectly smooth rim smaller than the lid. Treat them as a reliable cover and storage seal rather than a guaranteed vacuum.

Can they go on a hot pot?

Yes — they're rated to 446F for stovetop, oven and microwave, though larger ones can sag toward the food as a pot lid.

Can I see through them?

No, they're opaque silicone, so you can't watch food through them while cooking.

Are they dishwasher safe?

Yes — they're dishwasher safe and have a top knob and side tab so they're easy to lift and hang to dry.
